Contact a Westchester County Attorney – Child Support
In cases involving child support, paternity and spousal support, it is very important that you have the assistance of an attorney as early as possible. There is a misconception that child support is calculated by simply taking a percentage of a person's income. When it comes to child support, there is much more involved (such as medical and educational add-ons and child care expenses) and if you don't have an experienced attorney to help you, you could be receiving less or paying much more than you have to in child support. Often clients come to us after an order for child support has already been entered and in those cases it becomes necessary to demonstrate a change in circumstances before child support will be modified. To make matters worse, the longer the client waits to seek or challenge child support, the longer their rights will remain unprotected as child support magistrates will not look beyond the date of the filing of a petition.
The child support lawyers of Proto, Sachs & Brown, LLP have been successfully protecting the rights of people involved in child support, paternity and spousal support matters for over a combined 50 years of practice.
Your rights and financial well being are far too important to leave unprotected. Contact Proto, Sachs & Brown, LLP and immediately speak with a proven and experienced Family Law Attorney.
