White Plains, Ossining, Greenburgh and Port Chester saw significant arrests for criminal offenses over the holiday weekend.

In Ossining, New York burglars broke into a car accessories business and stole $4,000 in merchandise. The Police are actively investigating the crime including evidence at the scene.

In Greenburgh, New York, police are investigating a felony grand larceny by two individuals in a Christmas morning break in, where the individuals destroyed a display case and stole $41,000 in jewelry from a Sam's Club store in Greenburgh.

In Port Chester, New York an individual is being sought in connection with a armed felony robbery charge from a Subway restaurant.

In White Plains, there is an active police investigation for three individuals (felony robbery charge) who robbed the Mobil gas station on Westchester Avenue in the City of White Plains. Cash and lottery tickets were stolen.

Police blotters also cite numerous arrests for DWI and other traffic related matters in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Counties. More arrests can be expected during the New Year's Eve holiday weekend as patrols are increased along the Westchester and surrounding highways.
